Dad died in 2001, and Mom sold the house a few years after that. She moved into a small one bedroom apartment and my sister and I inherited a stack of boxes the size of a VW Beetle, all of them filled with old family photos. I decided to start scanning a few of them in my idle time (using our trusty, aging Canon N650U) and post them here. All of these photos are scans of small (none larger than 3x5) snapshots that were taken in the '40s and '50s (although I just started scanning pictures from the '20s, too), cleaned up a bit (and in some cases more than a bit) in Photoshop. I assume that interest in these pictures is limited to our family, but if you stumbled here by accident and find them interesting, welcome!
